STEVE COOK, CGCS, MG    Director of Agronomy  (1997-Present)

I believe that each person can add value, regardless of his or her role. Since I began at Oakland Hills in 1997, over 60 turfgrass interns have become part of our family and the most successful chose to contribute something positive to our operation.

I believe you, too, can choose to make a positive difference through hard work, a great attitude, a cooperative spirit, a willingness to participate and by respecting others. You will be given the opportunity to succeed … and we hope you take it. Come join our fraternity of Turfgrass Professionals.

You can visit our blog at www.ohccturf.blogspot.com to learn more about our facility.

Dylan MacMaster   North Course Superintendent  (2017-Present)

Professional internships jump started my career. I began working at a small 18 hole public golf course outside East Lansing, MI. While studying Turfgrass Management at Michigan State University I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and accepted an internship opportunity at famed Winged Foot Golf Club in New York. There I learned the expectations and demands of championship golf, but more importantly developed relationships with fellow Turf Professionals that still last to this day. Oakland Hills CC offers those same opportunities, and with a wide network of great Turf Managers to lean on, is an excellent choice for driven individuals.

ANDY GIANINO    South Course Superintendent  (2014-Present)

Upon graduation from Michigan State University in 2007, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest individuals in the industry.  Oakland Hills has provided an excellent network and support group of, not only great turfgrass managers, but great people.  It has been a privilege to preserve a golf course that has meant so much to the history of the game.

I grew up playing many sports and have always loved being part of a team.  When I am not at the golf course I continue to be an avid sports fan spending time with my friends and family.  As I begin my fourth season at Oakland Hills I am excited to increase and strengthen my friendships creating life long memories.
